FAQ

The questions Canadian workers ask most. Miss something? Get in touch.

What makes WorkAssist different from other work socks?+

Arch Power Support — a structured knit that lifts and cradles the arch, developed over twenty years. Most work socks are cushioned. Ours are engineered to reduce measurable fatigue on 8–12 hour shifts.

How do arch support socks reduce fatigue?+

A collapsed arch forces the calf and lower back to compensate throughout the day. Arch Power Support holds the foot in a neutral position, so muscles higher up don’t have to work overtime.

Are they machine washable?+

Yes. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Avoid fabric softeners — they coat the deodorizing fibres and reduce their effectiveness.

How long do WorkAssist socks last?+

Two to three times longer than a standard cotton work sock. The reinforced pile at the toe and heel is where cheap socks fail first.

Do 5-toe socks feel weird?+

On the first shift, yes. By the third day, workers stop noticing. Most who try them don’t go back.

Are they suitable for steel-toe boots?+

Yes. All lines are designed with steel-toe compatibility in mind — snug through the forefoot to avoid bunching against the cap.

Can I wear them in the winter?+

The Merino Wool line is built for the Canadian winter. Thermoregulating, moisture-wicking, and warm without being bulky.

What sizes do you offer?+

S (US 5-7), M (US 7–9), L (US 9-11) and XL (US 11-13).

Do you ship across Canada?+

Yes. Free shipping on orders over $50 CAD. Orders before noon EST ship the same day.

What’s your return policy?+

30 days, unwashed and unworn. If a pair fails structurally within 90 days of normal use, we replace it.

Are WorkAssist socks available in stores?+

Yes — at Mark’s, Mister Safety Shoes, Work Authority and independent safety-gear specialists.

Do you sell wholesale?+

Yes. Volume pricing and marketing support for retailers and companies with uniform programs. See the Wholesale page.
